Initial Response From Punchdrunk Performance

Although this process and the rehearsal were stressful, it was also very enjoyable. It was great to see all of our work over the past weeks finally come together so quickly, it was also a little nerve racking to begin with due to the fact that we had no clue where any of the audience where going to be however after a while it ended up becoming quite a fun aspect of the piece. After a few minutes of the piece starting, I felt much more comfortable and confident with the piece and I was ready to improvise the piece whenever it was needed, I also felt a big drive to give the best performance possible and be completely in the piece for the entire time and never break focus which I feel I did very well. 

It also took me a few minutes for me to adjust to the proximity of the audience members and to ensure that they didn't take my focus as they were moving around, however I feel I was able to do this quite quickly and I found it another really interesting part of the process that I wasn't prepared for, but the made the piece all the more enjoyable because of it.
